In this multimodal project, students explored how one of the texts we read in class exemplifies—or subverts—the conventions of a particular genre. They had to discuss at least three specific examples of how their chosen text adheres to or departs from the genre’s expectations, and their projects had to include at least one other mode besides writing, such as images or sound.
